College Joypurhar is a small northern district in Bangladesh surrounded by Dinajpur in the north, Bogra in the south, Gaibandha in the east and Naogaon and West Bengal of India in the west. It is just 12 km away from the historic Buddhist Bihar at Paharpur which is the largest Buddhist monastery bearing the glory and mystery of Buddhist civilization. Although small in size, Joypurhat is enriched with ethnic diversity and various sorts of natural and mineral resources. It is the sacred ground of Islamic saint popularly known as Hazrat Nimai Pir.
